Vision For Juniors in Uganda operates currently works with the existing village Health Structures to protect children from early childhood illness. VFJ in partnership with Health Facilities offer a number of medical services that provide primary health care (PHC) which is preventive and community integration to respond to early childhood killer diseases such as TB and Cholera.

Services Offered
  • Community awareness to prevent TB among children.
  • Contact tracing to ensure access to Isoniazid Therapy (IPT) for children under care of clients who are suffering from TB
  • Medical Examination
  • Link vulnerable children for Treatment of children living with HIV/AIDS
  • COMMUNITY door to door testing services including HIV/AIDS and TB Screening (free)

The community sites also extend these integrated services including nutritional support, home hygiene and environmental health, to mention but a few to community through various medical camps and mobile clinics. Our Patient/Client categories under the health program include children, child and youth leaders administrative staff.All the services mentioned are offered by our partners well qualified trained medical staff who include; Clinical Officers, Registered Nurses/ Midwives, Nursing Assistants, Laboratory Technicians, Counselors and a Consultant(Pediatrician) and Volunteers.
